The Snippets are organized in the same topic categories as the other stuff, like Tech Notes, Tools, etc. This should make it easy (or at least easier) to find what you need.
The warning file is as true as it always was. Read it and believe it.
The Snippet index is simply a tab-delimited text dump of part of the database that I use to keep track of them. This way you can use whatever tool you like: search it with any word processor, import it into your favorite database program (recommended), let On Location look through it, merge it with your Programmer's Online Companion database, sort it, slice it, dice it, etc. The field order is this:
Snippet Title <tab> Description <tab> Category <cr>
The category is also the name of the folder the snippet lives in.
